Landscape typology (-)

Start-End  -
Programme TELSAT 2
Contract TELSAT/II/07
Objective To use remote sensing data for visual landscape research.
Method - matching of a landscape typological mapping using remote sensing and one based on current (visual-intuitive) methods in the field and on hand of aerial photographs.
Result The landscape typological method was successfully applied in a study area in Normandy, in which a linkage was searched with remote sensing based research of agricultural changes. The different partial calculation techniques developed or applied in this and the former phase of the Telsat programme were rewritten as user friendly modules.
