How to retrieve information from the Directory?

There are mainly three ways to get to the right information:

1. In the Directory section you select the appropriate menu item on the left. You retrieve a list of all items available. You can filter the list to restrict the overview to items containing the specified value. You can also sort the list by clicking on the column names. You click the little quotes (») on the right to get the details of an item.
2. In the Directory section you select the appropriate menu item on the left. You click 'Use search form instead'. You can specify the parameters you want to search for and click the 'search' button. You receive a list of all items matching the specified parameters. You click the little quotes (») on the right to get the details of an item.
   (Please note that the search is restrictive. Different parameters are combined with a logical AND.)
3. You type a term to search for in the textbox in the upper right corner of the website. You click the 'search' button. You retrieve a list of all items containing the term in one of its fields. You click the little quotes (») on the right to get the details of an item.

How to use the map interface?

By dragging the map you move the map in the direction wanted.
By double-clicking the map you zoom in (left mouse button) or out (right mouse button).
By using the tool on the upper left, you can zoom in, zoom out or move the map in a certain direction.
By clicking on the upper right buttons, you get as background a map, a satellite image (if available at the given scale) or both.
By moving the blue rectangle in the overview window on the lower right, you move the detail map in a certain direction.
