Following the successful previous editions of the EO Commercialisation Forum, the ESA Earth Observation Programme Directorate is pleased to announce the 3rd edition of the forum, taking place in Seville, Spain from 12 to 14 May 2026. More information on the event venue will be available soon.
The forum will once again bring together end users, institutions, entrepreneurs, and companies of all sizes across the Earth observation (EO) sector to explore the evolving landscape of EO commercialisation. The 2026 edition will continue to offer a platform for discussing current opportunities, emerging trends, and key challenges within the fast-growing EO commercial space ecosystem.
As in previous years, the event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, demo corners, and matchmaking opportunities with ESA and private investors. The forum aims to:
• Foster dialogue between the EO community and emerging commercial sectors,
• Highlight innovative business approaches, technologies, and operational models shaping tomorrow’s EO markets,
• Strengthen connections between industry, research organisations, policy makers, and investors,
• Showcase opportunities for collaboration and support mechanisms within the wider European EO ecosystem,
• Provide a space to exchange experiences, identify synergies, and explore new partnerships.
