On behalf of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the IGARSS 2022 Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for IGARSS 2022 that is scheduled to be held from Sunday July 17th through Friday July 22nd, 2022 in hybrid mode with the physical venue at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center and over online platform.
In summer of 2022, Kuala Lumpur is excited to welcome you after two sessions of virtual IGARSS symposiums in Hawaii (2020) and Brussels (2021). We get to meet once again with our fellow researchers, collaborators and friends here at the iconic Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. We have lined up many exciting events throughout the symposia that will surely be refreshing and be of your interest!
The 42nd annual IGARSS symposium with the theme “Preserving our heritage, enabling our future through remote sensing”, will continue the excellent tradition of annual gathering of world-class scientists, engineers, educators and students in the fields of geoscience and remote sensing. In addition to the regular themes, four special themes are also organised for IGARSS 2022, namely “UAV and Drone Based Remote Sensing”, “Remote Sensing and Disease Control”, “Remote Sensing in South East Asia and Developing Countries” and “Remote Sensing for the Sustainable Development Goals”. The invited session proposal was closed on 4th October. We are pleased with the support and a good number of proposals have been accepted.
