Call for abstracts extended until 10 December 2021

ESA is now accepting abstracts for the next Living Planet Symposium – set to take place on 23–27 May 2022 at the World Conference Center in Bonn, Germany.

Held every three years, the Living Planet Symposium is the largest Earth observation conference in the world – bringing together international scientists and researchers to present and discuss the latest findings on Earth science and advances in Earth observation technologies.

The focus of the Living Planet Symposium 2022, which is being organised with the support of the German Aerospace Center DLR, will be on initiatives addressing the role of Earth observation activities in solving global challenges, such as climate change, sustainable development and food security.

Following the call for sessions, which took place during the summer, a preliminary list of sessions is now available, and you are invited to find a sweet spot where your research could be best presented.

The call for abstracts is open until 10 December 2021
