The Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB) is organizing the 12th Atmospheric Limb Workshop from the 22nd to the 26th of May 2023 (program and exact timing still to be defined).
The event will take place at the “Palais des Académies”, in the heart of Brussels.
The limb workshop is a scientific conference gathering research teams involved in the development, and the data processing of atmospheric limb missions. Past (e.g. SAGE-II, SCIAMACHY, GOMOS), current (e.g. SAGE-III/ISS, OSIRIS, OMPS-LP), and future (e.g. ALTIUS, MATS, CAIRT, CubeMap, SAGE-IV, ARGOS, ALI) Earth observation missions will be tackled.
A novelty for this version: the organizers are willing to open the workshop to planetary limb missions, such that scientists facing similar challenges on different planets can exchange.
