3 PhD positions available at University of Trento's Remote Sensing Laboratory

RSLab is looking for strongly motivated candidate PhD students having excellent study career and interested in research activities on remote sensing, radar and related data analysis and/or applications to Earth Observation and Planetary Exploration. Interested candidates should apply to the call issued by the International PhD School in Information and Communication Technology of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento and accessible here. The RSLab positions are in the Area D (Curriculum 2: Telecommunications) and refer to the development of research activities linked to remote sensing, radar and the the related data analysis (e.g., artificial intelligence and machine learning, data fusion, multidimensional signal processing, etc). Moreover, the following scholarships for specific research projects are open:

  • D1 – Development of methodologies and automatic techniques for the analysis of data acquired by satellite radars in planetary missions» details
  • D2 – Development of methodologies based on machine learning and artificial intelligence for the automatic analysis of satellite remote sensing images » details
  • D3 – Analysis of long and dense remote sensing image time series  (1 grant in cooperation with FBK) » details
