The EUMETSAT Climate Symposium “From Space to Climate Service: Co-creation in Action” will be designed to strengthen the interactions between policy and decision makers, operational national and European climate service providers, the research community, and EUMETSAT to unlock the power of satellite climate data for the benefit of society employing the latest technology.
This symposium targets policy and decision makers at all administrative levels, developers of workflows using satellite climate data, providers of operational climate data and services and their users as well as experts for suitable technology for co-creation in cloud computing. Through keynote talks and discussions, the event aims to facilitate connections, networking, and collaboration between the participating communities, promoting and fostering partnerships and joint action.
The sessions will focus on:
- Climate Policy and Socio-Economic Benefits of Climate Data;
- Usage of Satellite Climate Products in Applications and their Future Design;
- Interaction between Research and Operations in the joint Development of Applications;
- Technical Co-evolution of Data Access and Utilisation.
