BCGMStat - A STATISTICAL TOOL FOR THE BELGIAN CROP GROWTH MONITORING SYSTEM (B-CGMS)

Context and objectives

The 2 main objectives of this small project are:

Objective 1: to update and improve this StatCaT toolbox, particularly by directly linking it to the database of indicators (including some specific to certain crops) underlying the BCGMSweb platform.

Objective 2: to routinely run the WOFOST growth model, one of the cores of BCGMS yield forecasting system, on a decadal basis and display essential outputs such as yields (in grain/tubers or in biomass for crops such as fodder maize). Yields will be provided in potential (absence of limiting factors) and in water-limited conditions.
