Taking place at KAP Europa in Frankfurt (Germany), from 27 to 28 November 2024, end users, institutions, entrepreneurs and companies of any size from the Earth observation (EO) sector will come together to discuss the commercial potentials and challenges of the fast-growing EO commercial space sector.
The proposed theme for the 2nd CommEO is at the intersection between ‘Earth and climate initiatives’ and EO commercialisation: “Addressing climate challenges and opportunities with Earth observation for human and planet prosperity”.
Advancing commercial space in Europe is a vital component of ESA’s Agenda 2025, and the fast-growing EO sector has an abundance of possibilities that private businesses can capitalise on, from satellites and ground infrastructure to value-added services that address real-world needs with information from space.
All elements of the EO value chain will be addressed, with a focus on businesses, end users, relevant policies, and financial aspects as well as industrial and technical perspectives. The attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the market trends, key drivers and challenges the industry is facing, together with governmental policies, funding opportunities and commercialisation strategies.
Come to meet institutions, industry leaders, senior executives, start-ups, private and public investors and entrepreneurs, to connect with potential partners.
The event will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, demo corners and matchmaking opportunities with ESA and private investors.
