Mercator Ocean International is delighted to invite you to the OceanEye High-Level Event: From Vision to Implementation, which will take place at the NHOW Bloom Hotel in Brussels, Belgium, on 10 June 2026 at 17:30, as part of the Digital Ocean Week 2026.
Bringing together the European Commission, Permanent Representations, Members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders from in-situ and satellite observation to digital services, this high-level event will explore the future of Europe’s Digital Ocean ecosystem.
An official presentation of the OceanEye initiative by European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Costas Kadis will launch the event and open discussions on the initiative’s strategic priorities, as well as pathways for Member States to collectively engage in the International Alliance for a strengthened global ocean observing system.
The event will be followed by a cocktail reception in the exhibition area, featuring live demonstrations of the European Digital Twin Ocean.
