Context and objectives
The objective of this research is the correlation research between meteomarine data simulated or observed by traditional techniques and swell patterns sensed by ERS1.SAR in open sea and in shallow water conditions and beach sediments dynamics

Expected scientific results
- good characterisation of swell wave length in open sea using original DN;
- routine AUTOCORREL to compute autocorrelation;
- determination of drift direction;
- depth estimation with 1.21 standard error.
