Le programme STEREO IV récemment lancé fait partie d'une série de programmes financés par BELSPO depuis plus de 30 ans qui soit étaient totalement consacrés à la Télédétection, soit avaient une composante Observation de la Terre. Ces programmes sont énumérés ci-dessous:
