MijnTuinlab is a joint initiative of Kenniscentrum Tuin+, Natuurpunt and KULeuven's Earth & Environmental Sciences department. MijnTuinlab is a citizen-science field project complementary to the STEREO GARMON project.
With Mijn Tuinlab you can investigate your own garden. You can calculate how your garden scores on ecosystem services like water buffering, temperature regulation and air filtering. Thereafter you receive customized tips to improve your garden. In this way you find out what your garden can do for you and your environment. You also help science by collecting data about your garden. At the moment you can participate in just a few projects but in the (near) future new projects will be launched on the platform.
